Why Concorda

A fast, predictable and enforceable procedure.

Concorda combines the rigour of a legal decision with the simplicity of an online service. Here is what it changes for your business.

Speed

An online procedure and an award in weeks, where court proceedings often take years.

Predictable cost

Simple fees announced in advance: 8% of the amount in dispute up to CHF 50,000, then degressive, minimum CHF 500. No nasty surprises.

Enforceable decision

Arbitration replaces proceedings before the ordinary court: the award is an enforceable title (art. 387 CPC), is enforced like a judgment and cannot be appealed, save for a few limited exceptions.

Confidentiality

Private procedure and decision, unlike a public trial. Case data is also pseudonymised towards the AI services (names and identifiers masked). An asset for business.

Arbitrator & AI

The power of AI to prepare and structure the case; a human arbitrator assesses, decides and signs. And the parties may revoke them at any time, by mutual agreement.

100% online

Filing of submissions and exhibits, exchanges and deadline tracking from anywhere, without travel.

A cost announced in advance

The scale is degressive and public. You know the amount of the base fees as soon as the claim is filed.

8% of the amount in dispute up to CHF 50,000, then degressive (4% up to CHF 200,000, 2% beyond), with a minimum of CHF 500. The only additions, where applicable, are the costs of the evidentiary measures requested by the parties (witness hearing, examination, expert opinion, site inspection). Costs are, as a rule, borne by the losing party (art. 384 CPC).
8 000 fr.640 fr.
25 000 fr.2 000 fr.
100 000 fr.6 000 fr.
200 000 fr.10 000 fr.
CHF

Estimate of the base cost (scale), borne by the losing party (art. 384 CPC). Does not include the costs of evidentiary measures (expert opinion, witness hearing, examination of the parties, site inspection), set and allocated by the arbitrator according to the measures ordered.

A human always decides

Artificial intelligence prepares, structures and summarises the case to save time. But it is the arbitrator, an independent legal professional, who assesses the evidence, decides and signs the award. AI assists, it never decides.
